This "angry" thunderstorm was fun to watch as it rolled over Grand Tetons in late June. The sun was just setting (note the shaft of light shooting across Mount Moran).
I love the dramatic light changes that happen during a summer thunderstorm! If you watch and record what happens about every five or ten minutes, you'll be surprised at the changes, when you review your images. It's interesting how the color of the mountains changes, depending on the light reflecting down from the clouds.
